TY’RION RICHARDS

Joined the Team in 2020
Ty’rion began in the educational field working as an intern in the front office at Paul Habans Charter School in 2020. Beginning in the fall of 2020, she began teaching as the 5th grade ELA associate teacher. In 2021 she transitioned to 3rd grade as the ELA teacher along with the title of grade level chair. Between 2022-2024, she taught 3rd grade ELA, while being the 3-5 Team Lead. She was named one of the top growth teachers during the 2022-2023 school year.
Ty’rion is a New Orleans, LA native. During her 8th grade year, she attended Harriet Tubman Charter School during the first Crescent City turn around year. She believed that Tubman equipped her with life skills that she has utilized. She then attended Joseph S. Clark for high school in 2016. She earned her Bachelors of Arts from Dillard University in 2020, majoring in English.
Ty’rion is dedicated to growing students through intentional and rigorous instruction while building their character traits. She fully believes that relationships building is essential when educating students. She is committed to holding teachers and students accountable in order to reach their goals.
